More about Lee Barney
My Name is Lee Barney, I am the UKIP Councillor for the Walton Park Ward. I have created this page to introduce myself to anyone interested in local democracy and politics.
I am a driven young family man, I have two Children and a loving Wife (Jemma). I am active in the local community and I am a school Governor at Wavendon Gate Primary School. I am committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all Children. I want to see our local parks restored and protected, cleaned and maintained.
I run my own business in Milton Keynes providing IT Security services to companies in the UK. I hire local people where possible and nearly all of my staff live and work in Milton Keynes. I believe that we should look to ourselves to re-build our fragile economy. Local business need to invest locally, providing much needed jobs and security for the people of Milton Keynes.
As an ex Soldier I can appreciate the sacrifice made by our fighting men and women and I believe in supporting our forces, both emotionally through support and financially through appropriate funding. I extend this to the critical infrastructure of our great country, through to the Army, Navy, RAF, Police, NHS and Fire and Intelligence Services.
I am passionate about the local area, and I want to ensure that the citizens of Milton Keynes get value for money from our local council.
